Medically supervised Phentermine, Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Retatrutide programs β personalized to your body and goals.
At Living Well Wellness, our medical weight loss program pairs FDA-approved medications with ongoing physician support to help you reach your goals safely and sustainably.
Phentermine is an FDA-approved treatment that, when prescribed by a weight-loss physician, increases your metabolism so you burn more calories during day-to-day life and activities. Phentermine also works as an appetite suppressant β naturally alleviating the constant feeling of hunger while increasing your energy. Qualifying patients must have a BMI of 24 or higher. If you have had labs or an EKG completed within the last 12 months, you can bring a copy or sign a release form so we can obtain those records.
Semaglutide (the active ingredient in Wegovy) is an FDA-approved weight loss medication offered by injection or oral sublingual. By mimicking the GLP-1 hormone, it increases insulin secretion while slowing how fast your stomach empties food β suppressing your appetite so you feel full longer, helping you eat less and lose 1 to 2 pounds per week.
Semaglutide was initially approved in 2017 at a lower dose for type 2 diabetes. After studies at higher doses showed significant weight loss in adults without diabetes, the FDA approved it for weight loss in qualifying adults.
Who qualifies: Adults with a BMI of 27 or greater who also have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or type 2 diabetes β OR anyone with a BMI of 30 or greater, even without another weight-related condition.
Key benefits: Reduced body weight, suppressed appetite, lower blood sugar without increased hypoglycemia, reduced blood pressure and inflammatory markers, and improved cardiovascular risk factors.
Tirzepatide (the active ingredient in Mounjaro) is a dual-action medication targeting both GLP-1 and GIP receptors. It affects the production of blood sugar, insulin, and hunger-regulating hormones. It mimics two hormones released after eating, instructing the pancreas to generate insulin and alerting the liver to reduce glucose production β making you feel fuller longer and slowing digestion.
Dosing: Tirzepatide is administered as a weekly injection, typically starting at 2.5 mg for at least 4 weeks, then gradually increased. The dose will not typically exceed 15 mg per week.
Timeline: Most patients begin to see results within 8 to 12 weeks. When used alongside a calorie-reduced diet and exercise, results may be more significant.
Retatrutide is a next-generation injectable peptide being studied for weight loss. Unlike Semaglutide (a single GLP-1 agonist) or Tirzepatide (a dual GLP-1/GIP agonist), retatrutide is a "triple agonist" β it acts on three hormone receptors at once: GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. This broader mechanism is designed to increase satiety and slow digestion like the other GLP-1 medications, while the added glucagon receptor activity may help further boost the body's calorie-burning rate.
Important: Retatrutide is not yet FDA-approved. It remains an investigational medication currently completing Phase 3 clinical trials. Where offered, it is provided as a compounded medication under direct physician oversight, not as an approved pharmaceutical product. We'll walk you through what the current research shows, what's still unknown, and whether it's an appropriate option for you.
What the research shows so far: In published clinical trials, participants receiving the highest studied doses of retatrutide have seen average weight loss substantially greater than what's typically seen with currently approved GLP-1 medications, along with improvements in blood sugar control. As with any investigational treatment, individual results vary, long-term safety data is still being gathered, and your provider will discuss the current evidence and any open questions with you before starting.
Every Living Well Wellness weight loss program starts with a personalized evaluation so your provider can recommend the best fit for your goals.
Semaglutide and Tirzepatide pricing includes doctor visits plus medication and supplies shipped directly to your home. Required lab work (CMP, TSH, and EKG for Phentermine) can be billed to insurance or self-paid if not completed within the past 12 months. Retatrutide starts at $450 and may cost more depending on your current dosing schedule β please contact our office for current pricing and availability.
